Braille

Braille is named after its inventor Louis Braille, the Frenchman who devised it in 1829. It is usually written on a machine called a brailler. This is a bit like a typewriter, but has only six keys.

Moon

Moon is named after its inventor Dr William Moon, the Englishman who devised it in 1845. Computer programmes reproduce 'dotty' Moon transcriptions.
